I loved this place! The ambiance, the music, the reasonable drink prices - such a great vibe. Not sure if I was just lucky with the group playing that night, but they were so good I sat for about two hours listening. There was a cash cover charge of 15 and cash-only at the bar, but they had an ATM with a reasonable 2 fee. Highly recommended!

Great friendly atmosphere, attentive bar tenders. I didn't really enjoy the performance but that is a personal thing.......I love live blues and jazz. The vocalist just didn't sound that great....the band made up for it!

Small little hole in the wall, with the best live blues bands. We have been here twice, and customer service is always great. There's little room for dancing, but the good music makes you not care and move anyway. Go early as the seats fill up fast, and you'll find yourself standing all evening.

20 cover for an absolutely amazing blues experience!! The seating is first come first serve and there are a lot of people standing closer to set time so I recommend getting there early to get a seat! They only do cash so make sure you have that and they have some really reasonably priced drinks, some cocktails for 6-10! The performance was amazing and the crowd had a great energy! I’d definitely come back and recommend to anyone in Chicago!

Very Friendly and inviting. I walked in (alone) around 9:30 to hear live music and ended up staying till after 1:00! The couple with whom I shared a small table were very friendly and willing to chat. The music(Nate Manos and Shirley Johnson) was absolutely wonderful. I could have stayed and enjoyed them for longer but they were closing. Plus it was Friday night and the long work week finally caught up to me.

Powerful live performance in an artsy/grungy atmosphere. 20 cover charge per person. No reservation needed and no minimum requirement on drinks. Crowded, but the authentic music scene made it worth it

The place to be if you are into blues music. My friends and I experienced live band music. They were phenomenal. There is also a small area for dancing, so this was a HUGE plus for somebody looking to have a good time. Easily one of the top 3 experiences in Chicago. We will attend again. We cannot recommend this place highly enough!!oooh, its cash only but don't worry, there is an ATM on site.
